Everything here has been finished in the forge recently. Because each piece is hand-forged rather than produced in batches, what appears on this page is genuinely new work rather than restocked inventory, and much of it is one of a kind.

Damascus is the reason that matters. The pattern in a blade forms during forging and can't be repeated exactly, so a knife listed here won't be made again in the same way. If a piece catches your eye, it's worth taking seriously rather than waiting.

Every listing carries the same specifications as the rest of the site: steel, dimensions, construction, and finish.

Shop New Arrivals

Explore the latest pieces added to the forge, including handmade knives, axes, pendants, rings, and other steelwork. Each listing includes the available specifications so you can compare the piece before ordering.

When browsing new arrivals, consider:

  • Product type: Choose from knives, axes, jewellery, pendants, and other recently listed work.
  • Steel and materials: Check the listed steel, handle material, or other materials used in each piece.
  • Dimensions and weight: Compare the size and weight to understand how the piece will fit its intended use.
  • Pattern and finish: Damascus pieces can vary in pattern placement and appearance, while finishes affect the overall look of the steel.
  • Availability: New pieces may sell before similar work is added, so check the individual listing for current availability.

What "New" Means at a Forge

At a factory, new means a new model. At a forge, it usually means a new piece.

Most of what appears here is a single item: one knife, one pendant, one axe. Even where a design repeats, the Damascus pattern, the handle material, and the fit differ from the last one made. That's why our new products for sale are listed individually with their own photographs rather than as stock of a standard model.

It also means availability moves quickly. When a one-off sells, it's gone, and the closest we can offer is something similar rather than the same piece again.

New Handmade Knives

New handmade knives appear here across every category we forge: hunting blades, kitchen knives, folders, and camp and bushcraft knives.

Watch for two things in particular. First, unusual handle materials, which often appear on a small number of pieces when a particular wood, bone, or horn comes in. Second, blade sizes outside our normal range, since one-off work is where an unusual length or profile is most likely to show up.

New Damascus knives are worth a closer look for the pattern alone. A billet produces a limited number of blades, so pieces forged from the same billet appear together and then don't recur. Browse all Damascus steel knives to see the full range.

New Axes and Larger Work

New axes for sale, tomahawks, and historical-style pieces turn up here too, and they follow a different rhythm from knives. A head takes longer to forge, and a haft has to be fitted and hung, so fewer appear at once.

If you're watching for a particular pattern or head weight, check back regularly or get in touch. See the full range in axes and tomahawks.

New Jewellery and Pendants

New handmade jewelry comes from the same Damascus as our blades, forged from billets and offcuts rather than cast from a mould.

New steel pendants appear most often, including crosses, custom pieces, and cultural designs. New steel rings follow less frequently, since a ring has to be sized as well as shaped. Where a ring is listed, its size is stated on the product page.

Browse pendants and wedding rings, and jewelry for the full selection.

Buying a One-Off Piece

A one-off changes how you should approach the decision.

Check the specifications rather than assuming. A new piece may differ from its nearest relative in blade length, thickness, or handle material. Everything that matters is on the listing.

Look at the actual photographs. Because we photograph each piece individually, what you see is the item you'll receive, including the exact Damascus pattern.

Ask before it goes. If a spec you need isn't listed or you want more photographs, contact the forge or call +1 (406) 479-2574. We'd rather answer a question than have a piece returned.

Latest Handmade Gifts

Much of what appears here is bought as a gift, and a one-off suits that purpose well. A knife or pendant that exists in a single example is more personal than a catalogue item, without needing engraving or a custom order.

If you want something personalised as well, our custom engraved knives cover names, dates, and initials, though engraving adds time. For gifts with a deadline, buying something already finished from this page is the safer route.

Keeping Up With New Work

Pieces are posted as they're finished on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok, often before they reach the site. The newsletter carries new releases too, and signing up gets you 10% off a first order.

If you're after something specific that hasn't appeared yet, tell us what you're looking for. We can let you know when something matching comes out of the forge.

Caring for a New Piece

Most new work here is carbon steel or carbon Damascus, which will rust if it's left wet. Wipe the blade after use, dry it fully, and keep a light coat of oil on the steel. Store knives out of leather sheaths, since leather holds moisture against the blade.

Frequently Asked Questions

New pieces are listed as they're finished. Because each is hand-forged, arrivals come in irregular batches rather than on a fixed schedule.

Many are. Even where a design repeats, the Damascus pattern and handle differ, so no two pieces are identical.

Not the same one, but often something similar. Send us the product link and we'll tell you what's possible.

Tell us what you're looking for, and we'll get in touch when something matching is finished.

Yes. Each piece is photographed individually, so the pattern and handle you see are the ones you'll get.
