Many of our knives, axes, and jewellery pieces are hand-forged, with individual variations that reflect the making process rather than identical factory production. We say when carbon steel will rust if you leave it wet, when a Damascus ring can't be resized, and when a different tool would serve you better than the one you're looking at.
